| Description | The building was originally a bank of Australia Southern Branch. “The building is an excellent example of Victorian Italianate Architecture and is an important element in the streetscape. The design is dominated by a curved corner pediment which addresses the Intersection of George and Liverpool Streets. The Architecture is characterized by the red brick work and plaster and the elaborately carved sandstone pediment and corbels.” |
